  27.   Voyager 98 is a filemanager for Windows 95, 98 and NT 4. In
  28.   addition to being capable of performing the basic functionality 
  29.   already found in Windows Explorer, Voyager 98 offers a wide range 
  30.   of functions, features and modes to make your file management easy 
  31.   and flexible. Among these are:

  37.    o  Opens Zip, Rar and Ace files as folders

  47. 2. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  50.   In order to run Voyager, your system must meet these specifications:

  52.    o  An IBM PC or compatible that meets the minimum hardware
  53.       requirements for your version of Microsoft Windows.
  54.  
  55.    o  Windows NT 4.0 (or higher) or Windows 95/98 installed and
  56.       configured on your system.
  57.  
  58.    o  You need the Wininet.dll library. Most systems already have it 
  59.       installed, but it is included with the Voyager package and will
  60.       be installed if you need it.

  132.     whole archive to be erased.

  134.     the ZIP file to be set correctly according to your preferences
  135.   o Resolved a problem which caused Voyager to crash when navigating sub
  136.     menus with the keyboard
  137.   o Some minor improvements to the selection mode when immitating Windows
  138.     Explorer (selection cleared when right clicking a new file)
  139.   o Faster (no flicker) refresh when using a non-sticky selection method
  140.   o The user tools now use ShellExecuteEx() rather than CreateProcess()
  141.     to start the user tools
  142.   o Fixed a bug that could cause Voyager to crash when navigating menus
  143.     using the keyboard
  144.   o Enter/Return now properly opens submenus in menus
  145.   o Adding more than one file at a time to a sub dir inside a ZIP file

  160.   The Voyager Help file contains all of the information you'll need 
  161.   in order to use Voyager 98.

  163.   To access the help, please select Help from the Voyager menu (press
  164.   Alt-H or click on Help), then select Help Contents from the drop-
  165.   down menu.

  176.    o First of all make sure your problem isn't covered in the help 
  177.      file located in your Voyager 98 folder.

  179.    o In order for us to give you a quick and accurate solution it is
  180.      necessary that you supply us with some standard information about 
  181.      your system.

  183.      Please record your Voyager version number, Windows version, and 
  184.      the basic hardware specification about your hardware (RAM size, 
  185.      display adapter and CPU type and speed).

  193. 5.  KNOWN PROBLEMS OR LIMITATIONS

  196.   All the items on this list are being worked on and will be fixed in
  197.   later releases.

  199.     o  You cannot create a shortcut when you drag a file from the 
  200.        Voyager window to the desktop.
  201.  
  202.        To perform this task in Voyager select the file(s) you want a
  203.        shortcut to and click on one of them with the right mouse to 
  204.        display the context menu. Select "Copy". Next click with your 
  205.        right mouse on a empty spot on your Desktop. Select "Paste 
  206.        Shortcut" and the shortcut(s) should appear on your desktop.
  207.  
  208.        In Microsoft Windows 98 you can right click on a file and
  209.        choose the SendTo menu and select "Desktop as shortcut".
  210.  
  211.        Note: A side affect to this limitation is that dropping a 
  212.        file on a shortcut on the desktop won't open the shortcut 
  213.        with the dropped file.
  214.  
  215.     o  A local folder must always be either source or destination
  216.        (i.e. you cannot copy from an archive to another archive,
  217.        or from a FTP site to a FTP site).
  218.  
  219.     o  If you use ACD System's PicaView utility under Microsoft 
  220.        Windows 98 and get no thumbnail in the context menu please
  221.        check 'Compability Mode' in PicaView's Options.
  222.  
  223.     o  If you have the original versions of some system libraries
  224.        that shipped with the first release of Microsoft Windows 95
  225.        Voyager is unable to display the Filter dialog and Order
  226.        Wizard. This does not apply to Windows NT 4.0.
  227.  
  228.        To correct this problem reinstall Enriva Voyager 98 and
  229.        make sure you install the updated Common Control libraries.
  230.  
  231.     o  Batch files started by custom tools will keep their command
  232.        window open until the user manually closes it. To make the
  233.        window automatically close when the batch fiel completes
  234.        put "command.com" in the Command field and "/C " in front of
  235.        the batch file in the Arguments field (both without the quotes).

  238. 6.  INSTALLING AND UNINSTALLING INSTRUCTIONS

  245.   The Voyager 98 installation program ENVOY98C.EXE (or 
  246.   ENVOY98.EXE if you have the Microsoft Windows 98 version) is a 
  247.   Microsoft Windows application.

  249.   You must have Microsoft Windows 95/98 or Windows NT 4.0 (or higher) 
  250.   installed prior to installing Voyager.

  252.   Please perform the following steps:

  254.   1. Start Windows, if you haven't already done so.

  256.   2. Double-click on the Envoy98c.exe (or Envoy98.exe) file to start the
  257.      installation wizard.

  259.   3. Follow the instructions given in the Wizard.

  266.   If after installing Voyager, you find it necessary to remove
  267.   the software from your computer, perform the following steps:

  273.   2. Open the Add/Remove Programs applet from Control Panel.

  275.   3. Select 'Enriva Voyager 98' from the list of applications that can 
  276.      uninstalled by Windows.

  278.   4. Click on the Add/Remove button to uninstall it.

  286.   days, after which you must either purchase a license or remove it

  291.   and will not display the Evaluation notice on startup. The name of
